Being part of the process of shaping Possible Now has felt less like designing a Summit and more like staying with a shared question: in a time of deepening crisis and uncertainty, what might become possible if we allow ourselves to imagine differently? At Indonesia untuk Kemanusiaan (Indonesia for Humanity), this question has become deeply rooted in how we work. Through Catur Daya, Akar Daya, and Keswadayaan, since the 2023 #ShiftThePower Global Summit in Bogotá, we have been exploring what can emerge when we start from the strengths, relationships, knowledge and resources that already exist within communities, and when communities themselves have greater space to shape the direction of change. It is a continuing effort to bring the spirit of #ShiftThePower into practice — not as a fixed model, but as something that must be learned, tested and continually reshaped through real relationships and experience.

Across the world, many of us are carrying a sense that familiar systems are no longer enough, while the alternatives are still taking shape. Perhaps that restlessness is itself part of what is emerging. Possible Now is an invitation to people who feel this too: to bring and share the prototypes we are already trying, in whatever shape or form they may take, with all their progress, imperfections and challenges; to learn from one another; to strengthen the connective tissue between people, practices and places; and to imagine together what else might become possible. Let us make the Kathmandu Summit not simply a gathering of ideas, but a space where these emerging practices and relationships can meet, connect and inspire new ways of moving together — possibilities that continue to evolve, travel and take form far beyond the Summit.
